All our furniture is made of solid beautifully sanded smooth Douglas wood, spruce or scaffolding wood. We only use unfinished wood. This means we did not use chemicals or oils to treat the wood. This way it is safe for your child to lick spilled peanut butter and jelly from the sofa. We do not recommend it but it is possible.
