Introducing Mini Beee’s Stella Nova Play series

The Stella Nova Play series gives children their own outdoor game space. Here, they can unleash their creativity to its full extent - happily playing with their friends while reaping all the benefits that fresh air and Mother Nature have to offer.  The Stella Nova Play series can also be used indoors. Thanks to their design these pieces would also make an excellent addition to a bedroom, playroom or living room. 

At Mini Beee HQ, our creative team have been hard at work, designing a brand new product to introduce to our range. 

The Stella Nova Play series is the latest addition to our children’s outdoor furniture range. They feature a modern twist on traditional country style, in a charming neat-yet-rustic collection. 

In addition to this more traditional feel, the other significant change in our Stella Nova Play series is the broader variety of products included. The range features benches, picnic tables, chairs and even beautiful wooden playsets.

Expanding the Mini Beee ethos 

Throughout our entire product range, we’ve created furniture that brings children out into nature. Our pieces encourage them to spend more time outside, engage with the natural world, and play in their own imaginative and independent outdoor play. 

Our opening collection of products was made with lounging, chilling and chatting in mind. These products helped children socialise (which they’d normally do inside, on the sofa) outdoors. With these pieces, they can connect with their friends by hanging out outside.  

Now, we’ve expanded from laid-back socialising to fun-filled games and outdoor crafts. 

With the Stella Nova Play series, parents can give children their own outdoor game space. Here, they can unleash their creativity to its full extent - happily playing with their friends while reaping all the benefits that fresh air and Mother Nature have to offer.  

We often forget it, but the garden is our very own blank canvas - it is filled with endless opportunities for creative and imaginative play, which brings huge benefits to a child’s development. 

In today’s world of screen time and overstimulation, it’s easy to lose sight of the fun to be had in simple, outdoor games. The Stella Nova series is designed to help parents reconnect their children to this joy.

If space allows, adult-free spaces are hugely beneficial for kids. No matter how big or small it is, these spaces give children increased confidence, the ability to explore, solve problems and grow into creative and independent adults.

To that end, we’ve created products that are as unique as they are.

Options to suit every home 

Every single one of our products is made by hand, using all-natural materials, by our talented carpenter. This makes every product a one of a kind piece. 

In our Stella Nova Play series, you can now choose between two types of wood - scaffolding wood and Douglas wood. 

While scaffolding wood is still strong, durable and has a long lifespan, Douglas wood is remarkably high quality. 

Douglas wood is widely revered for its neatness and elegant aesthetic. Its characteristic red-orange colour makes a stand-out piece of natural furniture. 

Equally, the robustness and roughness of scaffolding wood lends itself to a stylish natural effect. Our scaffolding wood is a lighter grey colour that will lighten to a white-grey colour over time. This is perfect for modern homes with a chic, minimalist aesthetic. 

The other key difference is that scaffolding wood must be treated when used outdoors, whereas Douglas can be left untreated. Each type of wood boasts its own unique benefits to bring to your home. The beauty of the Stella Nova Play series is that you get to decide which material would work best for you!

We’ve also designed our Stella Nova Playset so that it can also be used indoors. Thanks to their chic design and affordable price point, these pieces would also make an excellent addition to a playroom or living room. 

Two new partnerships for Mini Beee

And we’re not done yet! There’s one more exciting announcement from us… 

We’re thrilled to have started working with two new brands - Lillagunga and Solvej Swings. These two wonderful companies design stunning children’s swings, which put a stylish spin on the timeless children’s outdoor toy. 

As well as being remarkably sturdy and hardwearing, these children’s garden swings are a stunning piece of modern garden design.
